Our Exploration Division utilises state–of-the-art geophysical methods, seismic imaging providing the basis of resource exploration. Using advanced 2D/3D seismic acquisition technology, our crews seamlessly conduct operations over varying and hard terrains. For further developing capabilities, integration of a future-generation seismic recorder is underway with a view towards maximum data capturing and analysis capabilities.

Our own seismic data processing facility is equipped with a high-performance computing cluster, enabling sophisticated imaging and accurate geological interpretations. The Prospect Development team, with expertise in seismic interpretation in different basins, uses leading–edge software and 3D visualization tools to discover and evaluate prospective resource locations.

In addition to that, Chiniot Group of Companies continues to focus on the development and assessment of non-traditional resources, especially shale and tight gas reservoirs.
